Infant Hit Head And Mouth Area After Falling From Bed. Having Fever And Cut In Lips

My baby fell off our bed and her hit her head and mouth area, her lip has a cut on it almost as if the tooth jammed in to the mouth. She now has a fever, feels very warm and is now acting very sleepy. Can the fall be related and should I take her to a doctor immediately? Like the ER?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your question,
the fever could be a inflammatory response of the body secondary to trauma. the cut on the lip can be treated with a topical anagesic and anesthetics like anabel gel...but make sure that there is no fracture of the tooth or bone by taking a radiograph of that region..consult a oral physician for complete examination and diagnosis..
i hope my answer will help you...take care..
