Infant Not Taking The Bottle Feed. On Breast Milk. What Can Be Done?

hi. my daughter is 4 months old now. as of date, i was mother feeding but since i need to go office trying to give her lactogen or aavin milk but she is not ready keep bottle nipple on her mouth. I have tried 1st step, chicco, avent, nuby brand feeding bottle. But she is not keeping. Can you please advice how to bottle feed my baby. Or is there anything which i can during day time and do mother feed in the nite time

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Exclusive breastfeeding is the best method of feeding your baby till the age of 6 months.

Even if you are going to office, I advise you to express the breast milk in a clean container and you can keep in refrigerator for next feeds. This milk is called Expressed Breast Milk (EBM).

Before feeding by a spoon, allow the milk to reach normal room temperature.

Breast milk can be expressed manually or by using a breast pump.

So in your office hours EBM can be given and during your presence direct breast feeds can be given.
