Infant Of A Month Administered With Easy Five, Prevnar, Rotorix. Is This Right?

Hi Doctor, My kid is given Easy five, PREVNAR 13, and RotoRix at the age of 1 month, which costed around Rs 5,000. The doctor recommends 3 dosages in the interval of 1 month. I just researched on internet and i found that Easy five, PREVNAR 13, and RotoRix are given at age of 6 weeks (45-60 days). I am worried now. Please let me know. Thanks & regards, Abhishek B.T

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi Abhishek,

Thank you for your query.

The ideal gap is between 6-8 weeks between the doses but the Government of India and Indian Academy of Pediatrics recommendation is 4 week. There is nothing wrong with either of the schedules.

I hope I have responded to your query to your satisfaction.

Regards,

RKK
