Hello
Thanks for the query
Passing 4-5 times stool in this age group is absolutely normal. What you should be watchful if there is any gross change in consistency and frequency of stool. Its good to know that you have started complementary feeding at right time and in right way. Passage of green color stool may be due to many reason, if there is no other problem then its normal. This is very common finding particularly during transition feeding. Actually stool gets color from bile pigment and due to some reason sometimes it does not get converted into its breakdown product which gives yellow or brown color to the stool, and it remains green. So just be careful about proper hydration , frequent feeding, any blood mixed stool or fever, if you notice any of these then consult your doctor, otherwise no need to worry. You can give Enterogermina 1 respule daily for 3 days,it will help in building up normal flora of the gut, they also help in breaking down of bilirubin and digestion.
I hope this answers your query well
Wish you and your family good health
