Infant Passing Green Stools With Yellow Dots After Starting Nan Pro Due To Insufficient Breast Milk

hello doctor, my baby is two months completetd ..due to insufficient of breast feed milk doctor suggested to give nan pro 1 between every two hours...his stool was dark green colour with yellow dots (pasty too) and it smells very bad but he dont have any stomach pain or gastric problem ...I am so confused and worried ...

usually breast milk fed babies pass milky stools which are semisolid cheesy smelling every time they breastfeed. when you give top feeds as in this case stools change to the above pattern. as long as the baby is passing adequate urine and is feeding well i dont think there is a problem. check his wieght every 15 days to ensure his growth is adequate
