Frequent cold and
cough is common in children due to frequent exposures to common pathogens like viruses and bacteria.
After starting to nursery the frequency will increase because of exposure to the other children.
If there is no
fever or any signs of bacterial infection usually antibiotics are not required.
Symptomatic treatment with syrups for cold and cough are required.
Avoid exposure of the child to dust, smoke, pets, cold air.
Frequent X-rays are usually not required.
Check for any allergens.
Once go for CBP, ESR, Absolute
eosinophil count, after discussing with your doctor.
