Infant Suffering From Cold, Given Sinarest Syrup, Not Helpful, Prescribed Monticope. What Should I Do?

Hi, doctor... My 2year 10 month old female baby is suffering from cold i mean runny nose from past 03 months, i was given - T minic, synarest syrup but it is not help full, Now our doctor has prescribed monticope one spoon in the night for one month. what should i do ?

In general, we don't want to prescribe prolonged courses of cold medications to children. One thought: reflux could also cause similar symptoms. I'd consider bringing that up with your doctor.
