Infant Suffering With High Fever, Vomiting, Loose Motions. Advised Blood And Urine Test. What Is The Disease?

Hello Doctor, My nephew age 1 year old(11.11.2011)is suffering from vomiting ,high fever from the last 2 days and today his loosemotions has also started ,the Doctor has advised to keep him under observation tonight ,and will take blod and urine test tomorrow ,but nothing is clear about his disease, at last what isit that he is suffering from .Please me I will be obliged. good evening, i feel that the child is having gastoenteritis, nothing to worry, untill the tests are done, keep the child well hydrated with ORS, control his temperature with paracetamol and sponging with warm water every 5 to 6 hrs once. it ll take a while for the symptoms to subside.
