Infant Suffers From Constipation. Gnorm Sachet Prescribed. What Should Be The Dosage?

hello doc my son is 13 months old and weigh about 9.5 kg he is been having has motion sickness for past two days, in a day he does it abt 7-9 times but he passes very little loose stool every time, my pediatrition has recomended gnorm sachet, but just want to know how much water do we have to dilute.

Let me correct you for one thing. Motion sickness is the term used to indicate the feeling of vertigo or giddiness which some will encounter during traveling in a bus or flight due to which they may vomit or become giddy.

So I think you want to express the child problem of having loose stools as I can understand from your history.

You can add gnorm sachet in 5 to 10 ml water and it can be given orally. It is a probiotic.

And the mainstay of treatment in diarrhea is to maintain hydration by giving sip of oral rehydration fluids such as Pedialyte.
