Infant Weaning Off Breast Milk Due To Severe Reflux. On Nexium. Is Isomil Safe For The Baby?

Hi! My baby is 4months old now and I am starting to wean her from the breast as she has severe reflux . She is on Nexiam 5mg per day for the reflux. I started her on Isomil, but my paed said that he would not recommend Isomil, as the milk protein is better for baby than the soy protein . What would be the best formula to give to a reflux baby? Thanks Amanda

Hi,
always milk protein is the best protein for any baby to digest as already told by your paediatritian. indigestion with other protein can aggravate reflux and hence better off to avoid it.
they can also lead to allergic manifestations later on in the baby.
I think you can go for NESTLE infant formula which has milk protein.
Thank you...
