Infant With Bout Of Gastro, Runny Stools, Vomit, Dehydration. Is This Hormones?

My 4 month old baby had a bout of gastro over the weekend. We attended the local ER and brought her home a few hours later, giving gastrolite 5mls x 15mins and then increased the dosage as long as she was keeping it down. She has has also only slightly runny stools . This afternoon, 24hrs after the vomiting and dehydration , she has a small amount of blood / mucus in her nappy ? Is this just hormones ?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems she is having gastro-enteritis.
As she is having vomiting with dehydration may require hospitalization and some IV fluid and antibiotic may required.
Give her enough water and electrolytes orally to correct dehydration.
Ok and bye.
