Infant With Cold Was Advised Mucolite And Coriminic Drops, But Has Had No Improvement. How To Treat This?

Hello Dr , My baby is 3 months old and he weighs about 7.4kgs weighed on 25th Nov . He is suffering cold from past 2 days an my Pediatrician have prescribed me Mucolite drops and Coriminic drops ( 6 drops thrice a day for 3 days ) but still now the condition is same and now i got cold from yesterday

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
Continue the medicines as advised by your pediatrician.
Give steam inhalation if possible 2-3 times daily.
You may squeeze one Karvol vapocap on to a hand kerchief an d keep it near the baby.
For you better you take flucold tablets 3 times daily and wear a face mask so that you will not infect the baby again.
