General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Calcimax tonic is not the way to improve the calcium levels. The real treatment would comprise of a thorough evaluation of your child by a trained paediatrician. We are looking at something more complex than calcium deficiency. Your child needs a proper neurological examination as we are looking at delayed milestones here as well ( not sitting at 10 months) The reason behind anemia ( less blood) in such a young child also needs to be evaluated.
Please do not try and treat her at home

Pediatrician Dr. Chandan's  Response
Hello madam,
I am highly concerned about your baby's condition. Calcium deficiency can only be diagnosed by few specific symptoms of child along with low blood ionized calcium levels. The complaints you have described, does not necessitate that your child has less calcium. It is better to get your child examined by pediatrician, let him assess your child's development, rather than starting calcimax straight away. Do not worry, your baby will be very healthy soon. Thank you
