Infant With Fever, Given Crocin. Dosage For Syrup?

Hi, When baby (7months) had fever , crocin was given. How long should this be persisted with ? I mean, should the crocin be stopped immediately after temperature has come down or can crocin be given after the temperature has come down to complete the dosage ? What happens is crocin is administered and baby has no temperature ?

Pediatrician 's  Response
it should be given only if fever is there . 4ml of syrup(5ml=125) is enough for single dose don,t give more then 4 to 5 times per day.
caution every fever not to be treated by crocin, if it is recurrent get your child evaluated first overdosing of this drug is very harmful.
