Infant With Persisting Chest Congestion And Cough. Could This Be An Infection From Parents?
My son is 10 month old and during last 3 months he is suffering from cough and chest congestion. A child specialist in our area treats him but he again suffered. Please suggest us how can we avoid these problems with our baby. Can a baby catch such jerms from father and mother when he sleeps with them ? I can not even kiss my baby as I oftenly have such problems.
Hi,
you can prevent infections to some extent by not allowing anyone with flu, fevercough and cold to handle the child and also not taking the baby to crowded public places.
Of course any care giver can give infections to the baby and it is up to you to take care and hygienic precautions.
Good luck
