Injured Knuckle, Swelling, Pain, Weird Texture Underneath The Skin. What This Might Be?

I injured my first middle knuckle and there is some swelling along with pain when i try to make a fist. If I rub the Extensor Tendon on the back of the knuckle it feels as though there is something loose inside with a weird texture underneath the skin, which is also accompanied with slight pain. Do you have any idea what this might be? I still have a full range of motion.
