Intense Pain In Lower Abdomen After Sex. Anything To Worry?
Hi, I am a sexually active 29 year old and last night immediately following sex with my boyfriend....I experienced ungodly intense pain in my lower abdomen. I lay still in bed for about an hour and it seemed to subside. Tonight after we had sex, immediately following, I experienced ungodly intense pain again that caused me to vomit....I've been curled up on the couch now for about 20 minutes and still am feeling pain in my lower abdomen, back and legs. Is this something I should be worried about?
The lower abdominal pain is considered normal when it occurs in women who were previously virgins and have recently changed their sexual status. This is the contraction and relaxation of the uterus, and it is just getting used to the same.
If this is not the case with you, then this could be a sign of some underlying abnormality and will have to be looked up.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
