Irregular Cycle, Trying To Conceive, Have Spotting On First Few Days Followed By Heavy Flow. How Do I Calculate Ovulation Days?
I used to have my cycle every 28 days for about 5 days. Now over a year after my 3rd child, my cycle is every 23-24 days and starts off stop and go spotting for the first 3-4 days, then really heavy for 2 days, then moderate for about 2-3 more days. I am trying to conceive, and I am not sure, with this cycle, when I may be ovulating?
Hi.
Thanks for choosing HCM.
You will have to calculate the ovulation time as 14 days prior to the onset of next cycle.
Otherwise you may have to keep the record of basal body temperature first thing in the morning after getting up for next 3 months or so & show the results to a doctor who can guide you about the likely dates of ovulation.
