Irregular Periods. Bloating And Weight Gain Before Periods. Pelvic Scan Showed Small Cyst. What Could Be Wrong?

hi
my menses are on and off. comes like every two months...i normally bloat and gain weight before it comes (almost like pregnancy symptoms). have done pelvic scan but the doctor told me he found a very small cyst which is normal. is he telling me the truth? and has it got to do with my menstrual problems? what is wrong with me? cos it is not like this.

well periods can have multiple presentations and pre menstrual symptoms can vary with person to person. your ultrasound says about a small cyst and your doc is right in sayiing that its normal. mild protrubrent belly or bloating before periods can be normal. just observe if its not causing any other discomfort thanks
