Irregular Periods. Got Periods For A Month After Taking Primolut N Followed By No Periods Next Month. Sexually Active. Possible Pregnancy?
I had irregular mensis thru dis year,I missed my period 2 months straight in june and july,but it came on d 14th of august,I saw a doctor who prescribed primolute N,my period came in sept on the 13th,I tried 2 get active sexually durin ovulation period.I dint c my period last month(october) even till now as I speak.I did a pregnancy test using a test script it showed negative.could I b pregnant?or could it b dat primolute dint help regularise d period afterall?

HI, The -ve pregnancy test shows that the menses are still irregular. Primolut N is a hormonal preparation aimed to regulate the irregular menstrual cycle. Minimum 3 cycles are usually needed to achieve the result.A single course wont have that effect. When you are trying for a baby, please get yourself fully checked by a Gynecologist.An ovulation study is also advised for detection of PCOD,which has a totally different approach of treatment. After a systematic treatment, you will start normal menses.& will conceive in due time. Thanks.
