Irregular Periods. Had Kenalog Shot. How Long Will It Take To Get My Cycle Back To Normal?
I'm 30 and trying to get pregnant. Had a kenalog shot about 3 weeks ago for allergies and now got my period 2 weeks into my cycle, so 2 weeks early. Had a prior shot in january and had my period for about 3 weeks straight, so I'm pretty sure it's from the shot. Took a while to get my cycle back to normal. My question is, how long will it take to get my cycle back to normal and did I do permanent damage to my cycle? I always had a regular cycle before the shots. How long will it take to get the steroid out of my system?

The steroid shots can cause the irregularity of the periods like you are having. Sometimes it takes even 1-2 months for the effect on the hormones to subside and the periods to regularize.
