Irregular Periods After Marriage. Normal?

Hi, I have been married for almost a year now....before marriage I was always regular with my periods(28 days)...2 to 3 months before I have started noticing a change in my date....it has now started getting delayed for a week or even more...I have no plans to conceive as of now...can you please guide me whether this is common amongst all the married women OR do I really need to consult a gynecologist.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
This delay in period or scanty menses or irregular periods are NOT a common sign ( symptom) in married women .
Any abnormality is due to any disease .
This , we call as dysfunctional uterine bleeding may be due to ,
1 Poly Cystic Ovarian disease ( PCOD).
2 Fibroid in uterus ,
3 Hormonal imbalance .
Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of ovaries & uterus with blood examination for various hormones .
Consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
