Irregular Periods Problems. Ovary Removed, PCOD, Hypothyroid. No Periods After Using Ovral. Why ?

hie..m 22 yrs old..m suffering from PCOD and hypo thyroid .when i was 15 my ovary my removed by docs as it was damaged n since then m suffering this irregular period probems...recently i have been told to have OVRAL L n asked to continue this course for 6 months..it worked out for me...but now in dis month even after having it and waiting for a week i m unable to have periods...i was also asked by doc to do gyming n because of busy schedule i havent done workout since 2 months

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since one ovary is already removed .
2nd one having Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease (pcod) .
The symptoms of pcod are ( in brief ).
Irregular bleeding, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, amenorrhea , acne, weight gain , hirsutism.
So abnormal bleeding in pcod cases is very common.
Ovral L is not working need not to worry.
Consult your treating doctor and he may switch over next dose regime.
B C is only primary treatment .
So consult one more gynecologist and get his opinion.
