Is 3 Mg Of Lorazepam A Safe Dosage?

My husband has severe anxiety and he has been on less than 1.5 mg lorazepam per day. His psychiatrist is trying to get his dosage up to 3 mg per day. He had some shaking today and he thinks it may be related to the increase in lorazepam. This doesn t seem to be a common side-effect and I m wondering if it was his anxiety over the increase in dosage. Your thoughts?
