Suggest Alternative For Lorazepam

Hi! I am presently taking a bedtime medication called: LORAZEPAM 2 MG TABLET, 1 tablet, as prescribed by my Doctor. I would like to use a Ambiem or Lunestra sleeping aid, instead of Lorazepam, because I believe Lorazepam makes me feel uncomfortable. Question: Would you recommend the change?

Thanks for using healthcaremagic. I understand your concern.
If i am your treating physician, would consider changing to alternative drugs like zolpidem, zopiclone for a short term treatment(with low effective dose) if the drug was prescribed for only insomnia(as sleeping aid) not related with anxiety or stress.I would advise you to discuss this with your treating doctor about this issue and proceed further.Hope i have answered your query. If any further questions, happy to answer you.Take care.
