Is CLA Elite 1000 Dietary Supplement Safe To Take While On Other Medication?
Hi, would taking safflower (conjugated linoleic acid), oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid have any interaction with other medication? I take on a regular basis; myrbetriq, Lipitor, low dose aspirin, prevacid, atenolol, and Flonase. I saw a few ads for CLA Elite 1000 which helps one to lose weight. Its a dietary supplement and I want to know if it is safe with my other medication. Thank you for your help.
There certainly is one silly interaction: fats dissolve medicines. If the fats get all absorbed, then so too will the medicines with minimal effect/interaction BUT if there is any problem absorbing fats, then this will wash out the medications. A larger issue is that dietary supplements are not really regulated and often/mostly have different stuff in them than what they say they have.
