Is Cefadroxil Monohydrat Effective For Proteus Mirabilis ?
Hi, My daughter has Proteus Mirabilis : 100000 in her urine. she is 7.5 years old and 25.5 kg. she has pain in her bladder and belly. pein is doing her bladder after urination. she use now (all of 2 days) Cefadroxil Monohydrat (500mg/5ml) 5ml 3 time per day. is Cefadroxil Monohydrat good to kill Proteus Mirabilis? (two weeks ago, she used Amoxicillin of 100 ml 500mg/5ml 5ml 3 time per day but Amoxicillin has not helped.) help me please Thanks-Majid

ofloxacin work very well in UTI
i think cefadroxyl is less powerful then ofloxacin
tell her to drink more water
better to consult pediatric .
