Is Cetirizine Pills Harmful For A Person Having Diabetics?

Hello, my father is 78 yrs old and takes takes Telmisartan 40 mg and Ecosprin AV 75 (blood thinner). He is also diebetic and takes Diebetrol pills (Metformin Hydrochloride andGlibenclamide) and insulin injections. Are Cetirizine pills harmful for him if taken 2 a day for 4 days.

Citirizine has no effect on blood sugar levels. They do not also affect the action of the other medications that your father is taking. It is totally safe to be taken. Feel free to continue the treatment as prescribed. If there are any specific changes that you have noticed, report them to your doctor but they would most likely not have been caused by this medication.
