Is Clarithryomycin Advisable For UTI Infections?

I m sure I have a UTI, and fortunately, I always carry an extra prescription of Clarithromycin 500 mg, because I m prone to developing pneumonia when travelling, - which I do a lot of. Arriving home late this evening, and departing early tomorrow for another 5 days, and trying to see a doc or go to a hospital is simply not possible... Can I take this prescription - once a day?

Hi
Clarithromycin is not a good antibiotic for urinary infection. Keep a dose of augmentin, trimethoprim or notrofurantoin if you are not allergic to them.
