Is Cortisone Advisable During Pregnancy?

My wife suffers from thalassemia the doctor advised her to use  cortisone 20 m. 3 months ago and one month ago she started yo decrease the cortisone and now she take 7.5 m. And my wife become pergnant 3 weeks ago . So does the use of the cortisone is safe or not and i thik the doctor will decrease it to 5 m. After 10 days

if your wife suffers from thalacimia then she will be only carrier. it will manifest in male children. steroid is not indicated or she needs it.
