Hi & Welcome.

Incomplete data like gender, lifestyle, actual body weight or BMI, etc ??

It is not advisable for weight loss.

Cremaffin (Liquid paraffin) is a laxative most commonly used for symptomatic relief of constipation, painful conditions of the anus, emptying the bowel before colonoscopy and other conditions.

Its common side effects include habit forming, soiling of the undergarments due to its leakage through the anus, anal irritation, enlargement of intestinal lymph nodes, and deficiencies of fat soluble vitamins.

If you're overweight you need to have certain lifestyle modifications such as avoidance of high caloric foods such as fatty veg and non-veg foods; fast and junk foods, sweetened carbonated soft drinks, alcohol; Do regular exercise, drink plenty of water, etc.

If the above measures fail, then you may need to consult an endocrinologist to find out the possible causes of weight gain such as thyroid disease or other hormonal conditions.

If the lifestyle changes do not cause significant weight reduction, then your doctor might prescribe certain drugs like Orlistat or Phentermine and Topiramate or Liraglutide.

Hope the advice given above would be beneficial to you.
A feed back is appreciated.
