Is Diegene, Effective For Excess Stools And Gas?

My husband is very uneasy since last two days after eating out . He is feeling very tired ...feverish but no fever actually.. He is passing stool but has a lot of gas. Has lost his appetite n is feeling his face is all heated up. Can diegene tablet help. How many can he take in a day? Can u suggest any home remedies as we r living in chin an it s not easy to get medicines as per ur prescription . Can u also tell us what is ur diagnosis pls?

Hi,

Noted the history about your husband having stomach problems after eating outside.
Gases, loose stools, feeling uneasy, changes in facial appearance as you have mentioned are suggestive of an intestinal infection.
I can understand your difficulty in getting medicare facilities when out, yet he needs a proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of stool and blood to get an appropriate diagnosis so that if the infection is present then surely he can get a prescription based management even in China or any country you people are in. Talk to the people nearby so that you can know where to take him.
Till then give him plenty of oral fluids to keep the body hydrated well and electrolyte solution. Give curd, banana and probiotics.
