Is Hospira Propofol- The Anesthetic Being Recalled?
I recently received an email alert that Hospira propofol?(the anesthetic) was being recalled. My dr said that was settled in 2012, but the article says it was distributed between Aug.2013 and dec. 2013 . I am scheduled for surgery with this dr. for my eyelid.why is my dr. not concerned?

Hospira has been not withdrawn from the market and the article shows may be related to a particular brand (company) if they are not maintaining proper standards of content in manufacturing. Propofol is very safe anaesthetic and easy to use. so don't worry.
