Is IBS Related To Lower Back Pain And Salty Spit Early Morning?

I woke up with lower back pain on the left side specifically and then my mouth became very salty and spit would not stop coming out but i could not move i was stuck and i just wanted to know is something very wrong ? i have IBS i dont know if that has anything to do with it though .

Hi and welcome to HCM,
Pain and discomfort normally seen in different parts of abdomen for IBS. Your lower back pain may be related to your IBS only. Also IBS may cause dehydration to patient at times which produce some salty saliva. Nothing to worry. Continue your medicine for IBS as per doctor's recommendation.
