Is Iron Injection During Pregnancy As Per Hb Level Necessary?

Hi doctor, My blood group is A -ve,In my 8 th mto month pregnancy my hb level is 9.8,so as per advice of doc taking iron injections is mandatory,min of injections is six,so is it compulsory to take? or any other process are having? pls advice for this....

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Usually we recommended blood transfusion or iron inj if haemoglobin level is below 7. I think your doctor advised you inj iron as your blood group is negative and some time negative blood group may in crisis. My opinion is you take iron tab in bd dose it can help you later.
