Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Well, Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is a hormone important in the development of follicles (eggs) produced by the ovaries.
Kindly follow the advise as given by your doctor regarding the dose. You should not change the dose from 75 to 150, just because your wife hasn't conceived over last 3 months. Anything needs to be adjusted in dose has to be done under medical supervision only. You need a serial follow-up scan to evaluate how your ovaries are responding to treatment, before increasing the dose.
Side effects of this hormone injection include: Ovarian hyper stimulation, Polycystic ovary, Lower abdominal pain, Allergic skin reactions and Multiple pregnancy. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
