Is MRI Scan Needed For Painful Knee Due To Twisted Knee While Walking?

Hi, i am 23yrs old, height 5 foot 4 inch and weight 44 kg.1 month back,while i was stepping down, the leg was twisted and was getting severe pain then i consulted to a doctor,he gave some medicines. after 2 days i was able to walk properly but again after 5 days it was paining. The doctor told me to use the Knee Brace for 2 weeks, now its not paining but i feel the knee is not stable enough. should i go for MRI scan? Please suggest.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.

You must get your MRI scan done and send me the report I will advise you the further management.

Till the you must wear hinged knee brace and avoid squatting and upstairs.

- Apply hot packs for 30 min in morning and evening .
