General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Meprate pills can induce withdrawal bleeding within 8 days of stopping the pills. You can take the pill for planning your period in a week you want... it may come from 2-8 days when you stop the pills. So it is the drug to induce period at the desired time... it is not the treatment of PCOS.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale,
