Is Microgest 200mg Safe For Long Term Intake?

20 weeks pregnant now. married for 5 years. 4 years ago i had 1 MR. last year I got pregnant and it ended with a miscarriage at 9 weeks. this time I took microgest 200 mg tablet upto 12 weeks and everything is goes normal. after that my doctor go to abroad and I had to change my doc. now my new doctor told me to take it for another 3 weeks. at the stage of 20 weeks is this normal? how long it is safe to take it. plz ans.

Microgest 200 mg ( progesterone ) is prescribed for recurrent miscarriage w/progestrone deficiency .
The normal dosage varies from doctor to doctor and from patient to patient.
This is advised for 12 to 16 weeks .
But few doctor also advise this medicine for another 20 -22 weeks of pregnancy without any side effects .
So your doctor is right and , you can take this drug safely for another couples of days as advised your gynecologist .
This is a natural component so safe for pregnancy.
