Is Mifty Kit The Right Medicine For Abortion?

48 hours is going to be finish I had taken 1 tablet of mifty kit according to doctor but no any results came yet and doctor suggested that after taking 1 tablet have to take 2 tablets inside the vaginal and 2 tablets as normal can it will complete its task plz. Suggest me.

Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concern for the efficacy of Mifty Kit medication.

Incomplete data like age, duration of pregnancy, any ultrasound done or consultation with gynecologist done.

Since it is NOT SAFE to terminate the pregnancy because of the risk of severe vaginal bleeding, cramps, incomplete abortion or infection a gynecologist consultation is a MUST.

I seems to me you have used the Mifty Kit incorrectly and this is causing you the problem.

Mifty Kit is prescribed by the gynecologist as follows:
To begin with take tab Mifepristone 200 mg orally. It will act to block effect of pregnancy hormones, thus arresting fetal growth.

This is to be followed by tab Misoprostol after 24 hours- 400 mg to 800 mg (depending on the pregnancy duration).
It has to be repeated every 3-12 hourly (the doses & number of repetitions to be judged & advised by your doctor).
Misoprostol can be taken vaginally/orally (as advised). It induces uterine contractions & expels the products of conception.
After complete expulsion or in case of excessive pain or bleeding /after 15 days of starting the pills, it is safe to revisit your gynecologist for confirming complete abortion by an ultrasound scan.
