Is Mixer Of Prozac And Adderall Dangerous Causing Someone To Go To Jail?

My husband s Doctor had him on prozac then a week or so later he added a 20mg adderall and my husband flipped out. With the mixters of these two medicines my husband flipped out and ended up in jail. Will the mixter s of these two medicines make some one flip out?

These medications , when used together, require very careful monitoring for interactions.
Adderall is a combination of two medications amphetamine and dextroamphetamine.

They (adderall and prozac) both increase the levels of serotonin and this can cause serotonin syndrome.
Serotonin syndrome can cause tremors, headache, confusion, agitation, seizures, nausea, vomiting, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure.

In addition the prozac also increases the levels of dextroamphetamine, one of the ingredients in adderall which means that it would have more side effects since its levels are higher
