Is Montek A Safe Medication For Infants?

Hello doctor, my son is 4 years old now, he is a allergic child, he has been taking montek tablets every winter from his age 1,doctors only advised to give him, I am worried to give this winter also, because now itself he srarted sneezing, coughing, do please tell me , the montek tablets for 3 to 4 months is safe, is there any side effects will be there

Welcome to hcm,
Tablet monteleukast is usually used for allergic rhinitis. Its not known to cause any serious sideffects.you can give your child to prevent the severity of rhinitis. If there is any serious side effects then stop the drug and consult your doctor.
