Hello,
2 mm subdural collection in MRI, is very thin and often not clinically significant. It can be managed by monitoring, it does not necessarily need to be operated. Your treating
neurologist likely prescribed Nootropil to improve cerebral
metabolism and recovery from any brain stress or injury.
You are advised to get a repeat MRI done after 4–6 weeks to ensure stability and to confirm if it is acute or chronic. On repeat MRI if it is not increasing, it means it is stable. Yes, it is safe to take Nootropil if you are not on any blood thinners or similar medication. Nootropil is a neuroprotective and cognition enhancing medication. However, it can slightly affect platelet aggregation.
If you have no signs of active bleeding (like headache worsening,
nausea,
vomiting, weakness,
numbness in the limbs or confusion) then you can take it. In case you develop such symptoms then get clinically examined, you may need urgent medical support.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
