Is Norco Same Effective As Lortab 7.5/500 For Pain Relief?

I have been taking Lortab 7.5/500 for quite some time for chronic back/knee injuries suffered in severe car accident 3 years ago. My pharmacy informed me today that Lortab is being taken off the market and that I have to have my doctor change my prescription to Norco. Will I have any decreased effect on my pain relief? I know this sounds silly, but the Lortab has always worked for me and I don't want any surprises, such as decreased pain relief.

Both Lortab and Norco have the same components/ingredients.There is absolutely no harm in taking Norco if Lortab is not available.Good luck.Hope I have answered your query.
