Is Nordette Effective If Taken 4 Days After Unprotected Sex?

Hello doc, i am 24 years old and i have used Nordette as ECP after 4 days of unprotected sex. will it still be effective? i had taken 4 active pills at first and another 4 18 hours later. it took me long to find such ECP for the area where i live is such a remote place. it was my first time that i took a pill. but i remember a year ago when i go to an OB gyne to have me inserted an IUD, it wasnt succesful because she told me the device will just pull out when i will have my menstruation later. please help me. if nordette will not be that effective if taken after 4 days of uprotected sex, then what shall i do now?

There is an FDA approved form of this called "plan B". It is 90% successful up to 48 hrs. At 4 days, it is much less likely to work but not zero. The nordette works by the same way, but is not FDA studied, so it has all the time limit problems and also is not as reliable.
