Is Norethisterone The Right Medicine For Ovarian Cyst?
Hi Doctor, I had a simple cyst of 2.6cm in my right ovary 5 months back and was advised to take Norethisterone for 1 week and my cyst dissolved... After that I had regular periods for 2 months and now it s 12 days due... I was advised to go for USG and the report says, Mildly bulky right ovary with dominant follicle of size 26*19 mm and mild fluid collection seen in POD... What does this mean and is there anything that I have to worry?
Hi I had gone through the question and understand your concern. Your report says that you have follicle on your right ovary. Although , there nothing to worry about , as it can be easily treated with medicines. Consult your gynecologist for the same.
Hope this information helps. Wish you good health.
