Is Nuvigil The Right Medicine For Shift Work Sleep Disorder?

Hi, i was put on Nuvigil for work shift disorder, the doctor called it. I have chronic fatigue(diagnosed by another doctor) but also suffer from sever anxiety. I got the one month free trial and i took only a half. I couldnt sleep at all for 2 nights. It did give me energy and keep me awake and busy the first day but ive had problems with it every since. Im only taking a little nibble(way less than half at a time) but it makes me so nervous and tense. Its like its helping one of my problems (work shift disorder) but it is intensifying another problem (severe anxiety). What should i do?? I recently found out that i have Lymphoma stage 4 (had it in 2006 but stage 3) and Hepatitis C also, but i have not started treatment yet due to the fact that i am trying to qualify for Medicaid. I feel like crap all of the time and i really need something that can keep me from being so tired all the time but will also allow me to sleep at night and wont increase my anxiety. Im already on a low dose of Klonapin and i take Buphrenorphine, plus i get 10 valium a month. Now Nuvigil some days. This combination is just not working for me. Need advice please! Thank you.

It is one treatment. While it is not FDA approved for that it is likely tohave an effect.
Multiple drugs, especially sedatives such as KLONAPIN or drugs that reliably produce sedation (all narcotics... from the greek word for sleep 'narco') are not going to help sedation.
