Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Loose motions are mostly viral in nature and settles in few days.
Most important is to maintain and monitor hydration.
Continue with breastfeefing.
Give probiotic like racecadotril as prescribed.
Give oral rehydration solution sip by sip after each loose stools.
Antibiotics are given for bacterial infections.
In case symptoms persistI suggest you to get him examined by pediatrician for further management.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
