Is Omeprazole Safe While Having Pancreatic Stent?

I ve been taking plavix for 1 month per cardio Dr. two weeks ago, gastro Dr placed a pancreatic stent. His nurse advised me to begin 40mg omperazole to help relieve the very uncomfortable stomach issues since the stent placement. Is that safe? or advbisable? Thanks.

Hi,Omperazole is a PPI with function of antacid. You can safely took it as it has for few days as it has very few side effects.
