Is Oxycodone-Acetaminophen A Narcotic Drug?

I was given a one week prescription for oxycodone-acetaminophen 10-325 to counter the pain effects of a bad fall from a ladder that fractured several ribs and tore much of the surrounding muscle. I m happy too say that I finished using it and will need no longer need it as Ibuprophen now seems sufficient. I ve since learned that it is a narcotic. Could it have been addictive, or is the dosage too low?

Oxycodone is opioid based so it has some narcotics in its properties, However if its just given one week with specific reason which is trauma related it wouldn't cause addictive if you used properly, And yes its low dosed and mixed with acetaminophen to give the maximum counter-pain effect. You could use the ibuprofen for the rest of your recovery.
